What We Do

We care for vulnerable children and youth through advocacy and networks. UNM provides home and school visits, trainings, direct and indirect support, funds individual and group projects, supports education, vocational activities, shelter and legal aid.

Targeted people are orphans and vulnerable children/youth between 1 and 25 years old affected by  Genocide, HIV/AIDS or poverty,  in foster or biological households and young girls who are victims of sexual abuse or other forms of violence. Some of them have become  single mothers.

UNM is divided  into four programs:

  • Health, Education and Life Skills;
  • Economic Development;
  • Advocacy and Communication;
  • Administration and Finances.
