In memory of Flavia Kamanzi Mukantaganira

Ms Flavia Kamanzi Mukantaganira, senior fellow and member, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2015 in Montpellier, France. She left this world exactly while all family members were united for prayers.

Flavia
James 2, 14-18 states: “Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead” Ms Flavia Kamanzi Mukantaganira (Maman Christian) has lived her faith with all of us, preaching by  acts; she was a strong and charismatic lady, somebody that cared about everyone and everything. She believed and worked hard on Uyisenga ni Imanzi’s mission, its work and strategies and more importantly with all people using the same consideration and an enthusiastic manner.

She has been a comfort to distressed people and a pastor for lost ones, an exceptional counsellor and a dedicated staff member. She has been not only a professional, a confident, a colleague or an elder, but also an advocate and pacemaker 13 years of her career. Flavia has dedicated her time and heart to the success of the organization, striving to accomplish any task assigned to her or initiating many others.

Ms Flavia not only cared about the right things, addressing them with tact and in the right way, no matter how difficult or challenging, she always tried to bring people together, advising and initiating new comers, coupling work with social life, and nurture expertise where it was needed.

Through her leadership and thanks to the generosity of her nature, Flavia has contributed significantly to growing of our organization as well as the better understanding of vulnerable children’s problems in Rwanda, especially among partners.

Ms Flavia, who joined our team in 2003, one year of Uyisenga Ni Imanzi’s foundation, was a very resourceful person; she will be missed a lot.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. May her soul rest in peace!
