Uyisenga Ni Imanzi is a Rwandan organization that helps vulnerable children and youth, especially those affected by the genocide and HIV/AIDS to rebuild their lives.
In today’s Rwanda, thousands of children are growing up without the loving care of parents or guardians. They face severe trauma, isolation, poverty, health problems and abuse.
We offer a comprehensive package of services, i.e personalized and group counselling, shelter, legal advice and aid, educational, social and medical support to give them hope and voice for a better future. We conduct research and advocacy and we support income generating activities (agriculture, animal farming, business, etc).
We believe that the best way to support children is to give them the skills they need and let them fly by themselves. Our unique approach is to bring children and youth together into associations/groups where they give each other support and learn about counselling, human rights, and different ways/skills that open doors to self-sufficiency.
